If it is a trophy buck to you...and you want to put it on the wall...shoot it!  That has been our creed for the past 3 years or so and it is paying off.  In addition to planting a lot of food plots, this has helped us to manage the smaller bucks allowing them to grow and also provide some great nutrition for a healthy herd and healthy racks.

 

 

 

Our "trophy to you" concept has kept us from shooting the smaller bucks because we know if we do we need to pay the money to mount them.  However, we do not say it has to be so many inches or you are a jerk.  Simply put, trophy to you means trophy to us all. 

 

 

The bucks that are still here because of our rule, and the huge amount of food we have planted for them has led to some great prospects.  Here are some more examples of the trail cam shots we are getting this year. 

 

NOTE:  These have all been photographed in fields or edges where there was no tree to hang the camera.  We used the AT-5 Trail Camera Support on a metal post to place the camera where we needed it.  Without the AT-5, we could not have gotten these photos.
